2024 Girls’ Education Cash Transfer rolled out.

The International Agency, Girls’ Education South Sudan (GESS) has announced the commencement of the 2024 Cash Transfers.

GESS made the announcement in a press release on Thursday July 4th 2024, saying “This year, girls in P7 to S.4 will receive a cash transfer, as a well as those in the Accelerated Learning Programme (ALP) Level 3 and Level 4.”

 “For the first time ever, boys who have been identified as having a disability in classes P7 to S.4 and learners with disabilities in ALP level 3 and 4, will be validated to receive a cash transfer.”

 “The cash transfer provided under the GESS help make it easy for these children to enroll in and to stay in school and benefit from the education, affording them the opportunity to realize their potentials and contribute fully to society and the development of the country.”
