Today South Sudan marked the 2025 International Children’s Day with
vibrant activities, including an inter-school debate competition featuring both
primary and secondary schools. Celebrated under the theme “My Day, My Right
to Quality Education,” the event underscored the importance of education as
a fundamental right for every child.
The celebrations in Juba brought together 17 schools, creating a
platform for learners to engage in meaningful dialogue on issues affecting
their education and future. The debates highlighted children’s voices and
perspectives, reinforcing the national commitment to promoting inclusive and
quality education for all.
