The Ministry of General Education and Instruction, in collaboration with the National Examination Council (NEC), officially released the 2025 South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education (SSCSE) examination results on Tuesday 2, June 2026 in Juba.
The results were announced by the Minister of General Education and Instruction, Hon. Dr. Kuyok Abol Kuyok, alongside officials from the National Examination Council, marking a significant milestone for thousands of students who sat for the national examinations across the country.
According to the NEC, more than 45,000 Senior Four candidates participated in the 2025 examinations in the Academic, Technical, and Commercial streams. Of these, 36,950 candidates successfully passed, demonstrating resilience and commitment despite the challenges facing the education sector.
Speaking during the announcement, education authorities commended students, teachers, school administrators, and parents for their dedication and support throughout the academic year. The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing the quality of education, strengthening examination management systems, and improving learning outcomes nationwide.
Among the top-performing institutions was Darling Wisdom Academy Secondary School, whose leading candidate achieved an impressive 88.9 percent, highlighting the school's continued excellence in academic performance.
The release of the examination results opens the door for successful candidates to pursue higher education and professional opportunities. The ministry also encouraged students who did not attain their desired results to remain focused, work hard, and continue striving toward their educational goals.
The announcement has been welcomed by students, parents, and education stakeholders across South Sudan, who had eagerly awaited the results following the completion of the national examinations.
