The National Examination Council today provide the update
to the parents and student on the results of 2024 Examination (CPE and CSE).
As you might be aware of, the 2024 examination (CPE
and CSE) were administered in November/ December 2024 respectively.
By this time, we should have processed and announced
the results, especially the results for Certificate of primary Education (CPE),
and that successful candidates should have joined senior one when the schools
officially opened on Monday 3rd February 2025.
However, it is very unfortunate to report that the
secretariat of examinations has not been able to process the examinations due
to lack of funding.
Nevertheless, the secretariate of examinations has
just today received some funding from the ministry of finance to begin marking of
the CPE Exams, that means as of tomorrow, the Secretariate will embark on
processing of the examinations.
I therefore take this opportunity to appeal to the
candidates, their parents and all stakeholders to bear with us as we engage the
teachers in processing of the examination results.
